How did it start?
I started back in 2014 after completing my Post-Graduation in Insurance from Manipal Academy. I went on to work with HDFC, Squareyards and Policy Bazar. Here I gained the true insights of Insurance market. Working in this domain and meeting people in and out made me realized that they lack financial literacy. In my career till now I have seen people are completely unaware of how to claim insurance. Many of them do not even know “Insurance” in general.
And then My Start-up Story begins! (Add link to about page) I have always been fond of making people’s lives better by solving the true problems. Through my years of working with such brands I observed people really lack the true knowledge of Insurance. Surely they have taken Insurance but do not know its benefits and how to claim them.
The process to claim the insurance in India is very complex. There is long waiting hours and other barriers in the stages. This was a real problem faced by everyone. And I then found the perfect solution to this.
And thus, I went on to fulfill my mission…
My mission is to make India literate on Finance and Insurance and offer a smooth and secure claim process. With a vision to reach each and every part of India and Abroad I started my own Venture, The Bharat Claims. Want to know about my Insuretech start-up, The Bharat Claims
I founded Insuretech startup, The Bharat Claims in 2020. It is a claim consultancy, providing a smooth claim process and advisory for Insurance and Claims. The start-up aims to offer end to end advisory on the insurance and their claims.
As I worked for 6 to 7 years with different brands I have realized Insurance is a very grey area. Many experts do not dare to open this side of the book. I also observed that people do not even have a mere knowledge of Insurance or their claims. The Bharat Claims is focusing on Indian population and making them aware on Indian Insurance. My aim is to reach world population and make everyone lives better by spreading awareness on Insurance and its importance. In The Bharat Claims also put a special focus on Hidden claims which are by default present in the Insurance but everyone is aware of. About Bharat Claims

A single point solution for all insurance claims and mis-selling issues, ‘The Bharat Claims’ is a Delhi based claim advisory startup offering expert consultation about known and unknown insurances. The main objective is providing professional services to businesses and individuals, and giving assistance in times of claim settlement from the insurance company.
The Problem Insurance is one of the noblest and most effective products we humans have innovated so far, where the loss of a few can be compensated by many. While insurances are designed to help people, due to the increasing population, throughout the world, it has become difficult for insurers to provide the same customer service through ages. As per data published by the regulator, the number of unpaid claims and mis-selling cases are increasing in India every year. Taking into consideration the Insuretech in India, the reason behind the loss of customer interest is the complicated claims process. Also, the COVID-19 pandemic showed how it becomes difficult for insurers to handle insurance claims and explaining the diversity of customers in a manageable manner. It is uneasy and exhausting due to multiple forms and formalities, complicated processes involved and low level of insurance education among certain insurance bearers. The insurance claim process is not only complicated but is too lengthy for a customer as well. There are a lot of forms that they need to fill and they have to wait too long to get a response from insurance companies. We see a lot of mis-selling cases, where people have been told something else and the policy says something else, and several unpaid claims that ultimately hampers the customer's financial health.
The Solution
In India, we have 24+ insurers, nearly 2000+ corporate agents and brokers and when we talk about claim consultancy companies you can count them on fingers. To increase the penetration of insurance in India and throughout the world, changing the thinking and working according to the customer base is the foremost step. Also, there is a need to increase consumer awareness regarding insurance where people can easily know what an insurance policy covers and what are the benefits and exclusions, particularly in the insurance policy. Also to increase the user experience, the insurance claim segment where people can easily submit their insurance claim and get benefited is to be accorded well. Simplification of insurance processes is another thing that needs to be done for a better customer experience and ultimately elevating the trust and penetration of insurances. Founded in January 2021, The Bharat Claims is independent claim advisory, dedicated to solving customers’ all insurance claim issues and mis-selling issues. With an eclectic team of operations executives, technical specialists and claim advisors, The Bharat Claims have helped in the fast and easy settlement of over 200 claims in the past.
